The Welcome Week, an initiative held every semester, is taking place until 11 September, with the aim of supporting the integration of new mobility students at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP).

This edition, ISEP welcomes 180 students from 25 different nationalities, representing 80 higher education institutions from Europe, South America and Asia.

The students are joining ISEP through Erasmus+, Erasmus-International Credit Mobility (ICM) and bilateral cooperation agreements. We are also welcoming double-degree students attending classes and undertaking internships.

The programme includes a range of activities designed to introduce students to ISEP, as well as information sessions on safety, healthcare and transport, workshops on integration challenges, and a social, sports and cultural programme. The programme will conclude with a visit to Porto next Friday, 11 September, one of the highlights for mobility students.

As internationalisation is a key pillar of ISEP, mobility programmes represent a shared added value for both students and institutions. These experiences foster international cooperation, the development of intercultural communication skills and personal growth, enriching students’ academic journeys through contact with new teaching and learning approaches.
