As part of its internationalisation strategy and through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) programme, several members of the academic community at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) recently undertook mobility activities at seven higher education institutions across six partner countries, participating in teaching and training assignments.

These mobility activities took place at the Universidade de S. Tomé e Príncipe, the Universidade de Cabo Verde, Conestoga College (Canada), the Polytechnic University of Tirana (Albania), Univerzitet Mediteran Podgorica (Montenegro), Cadi Ayyad University, and Hassan II University (Morocco). They provided an important opportunity to strengthen institutional relationships with partner universities, contributing to the expansion of institutional international cooperation and the consolidation of academic and scientific networks across regions worldwide.

Throughout these missions, participants shared knowledge, exchanged experiences, and promoted good practices in teaching, research, and academic management. The visits also helped raise awareness of international mobility opportunities at the host institutions and identify new areas for collaboration based on shared interests.

Participation in these mobility projects reaffirms ISEP’s commitment to the internationalisation of higher education by fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange, which are important elements of academic excellence and the training of a more open, diverse, and globally connected community.
