ISEP's Fados Group announced the release of their album "Hora Torguiana" on the most famous digital music sharing platforms, namely Spotify, Apple Music and Shazam. The academic group thus offers the best of its repertoire free of charge so that students, collaborators, teachers and members outside the ISEP community get to know their work.

“Hora Torguiana”, which was physically released in 2009, is the first album of only originals in the entire Academy of Porto and already has two editions. In the year of reedition in 2014, all copies were sold out. However, with the arrival on digital platforms, it becomes easier for the group to take their name and ISEP’s name even further.

The Fados Group of ISEP officially started in 1991 and started its activity with two singers, two Portuguese guitars and two violas. Throughout its history, various formations have been passing and leaving their mark, both in the Group and in the Academy, through events such as the Grande Noite do Fado Académico (trans: Great Night of Academic Fado). The academic group's biography highlights the publication of four albums: “Adeus Saudade” (1998); “Porto, Memórias e Fado” (2001); “Passos Vividos” (2004) and “Hora Torguiana” (2009).
