In nowadays, ISEP is working in the development of a new international project promoted by the Gazprom (the Russian multinational that is a reference in whole world into the energy sector) and with the University of Purdue (USA). ISEP was invited for this project during a visit to the Kazan Federal University (Russia).  

Under the title of “Human resources for oil, gas and chemical enterprises: engineering pedagogy development issues”, this is the first project ever between ISEP and Gazprom. The purpose of the Russian company is to find solutions with the help of the academic world for some of their internal constraints, such as at the level of the recruitment of engineers for their infrastructures.

“ISEP community is very proud about this invitation to work in this project with the University of Purdue, especially because we are the only European higher institution involved”, says José Carlos Quadrado, ISEP’s vice-president.

In the first week of December is already scheduled a final meeting about the development of this project, alongside with some workers and leaders of Gazprom. Furthermore, of implementation of various periods of training for senior technicians of the Russian multinational is planned to be carried out on the Institute's campus.
