ISEP Academy, part of Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), secured 1st place in the “EMEA NetAcad Cup Real Madrid”, a competition covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa, organised in collaboration with Real Madrid CF.

The online challenge was divided into three stages. In the Capture The Flag phase, 501 teams competed, each made up of four students and one instructor. From these, 24 teams qualified for the third and final stage.

The winning team included Daniel Girão, a student at ISEP Academy, alongside Dinis Costa, Francisco Oliveira and Gonçalo Sarabanda, all students at ISEP, and the team instructor and captain, Bruno Silva, a lecturer at ISEP.

ISEP Academy is ISEP’s specialised training centre, offering practical courses and recognised certifications focused on areas such as cybersecurity, networks and systems.
