
It will take place on May 12 at 2:30 PM, the online event “IEEE Symposium on Authorship and Open Access: Tips and Best Practices for Publishing with IEEE Editors.”
The event aims to present authors with best practices for manuscript preparation, guidance on the journal submission process, and key tips on how to publish. It will also explore the opportunities available to authors and academic institutions to increase visibility and examine the impact of research through the various open access options offered by IEEE.
This 90-minute webinar, delivered in English, will feature the perspective of author, editor, professor, and researcher Björn Schuller, from the Technical University of Munich.
Drawing on his editorial experience, Schuller will share essential insights into IEEE’s peer review and submission processes, as well as guidance on what editors look for in submissions. Other IEEE speakers will also address topics such as open access programmes for institutions, research strategies using the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, author tools, and other relevant resources.
