Welcome Week, a biannual initiative aimed at promoting the integration of new international students at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), is taking place until September 15.

In this edition, ISEP has 135 students of 24 different nationalities from 55 higher education institutions in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

The program includes various activities aimed at introducing them to what will be their new "home" for this academic year and its procedures, information sessions on safety, health, transport, workshops on integration challenges, and a social, sporting and cultural program, culminating in a visit next Friday to the city of Porto, one of the favorite moments for international students.

Internationalization is a key action in ISEP's strategy, and mobility projects are an asset for students and institutions, stimulating international cooperation; allowing the development of intercultural communication skills; personal growth, the enhancement of academic curriculums and contact with other teaching-learning methodologies.
