Welcome to FAIM2023 International Conference

Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing International Conference series has been run in 27 cities in 14 countries in Europe, America, and Asia, addressing both technology and management aspects. The 32nd FAIM International Conference, FAIM'2023, is the milestone of 32 years of continuous presence in the international manufacturing scene, returning to Porto, Portugal, where it took place for the first time in 2013.

High visibility refereed publications

All accepted papers presented at FAIM 2023 will be published in Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering (Springer), indexed by Scopus, with 8-page lenght. Depending on the subject and content, Authors will be invited to extend their papers to submit in a later phase to reputed journals such as Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (Elsevier), International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Springer), Journal of  Mechanical Engineering and Science (SAGE), Journal of Testing and Evoluation (ASTM), International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (Taylor and Francis), Sustainability (MDPI), Machines (MDPI), Actuators (MDPI), Technological Sustainability (Emerald), Journal of Innovation Management, or FME Transactions (University of Belgrade, Serbia), following special "fast-track" reviewing process or inclusion in Special Issues (check "Participation" for further details). Other reputed journals will be contacted to evaluate extended papers, such as Journal of Manufacturing Processes (ELSEVIER), Machines (MDPI), Materials (MDPI), and so on.
