FTC - FAST TRACK COURSES

The Fast Track Courses are a three-day event of one-hour training sessions on multiple BIM (Building Information Modeling) software platforms and applications, with focus on Autodesk solutions. The classes will be in English and the program was structured in a way that each session can be independent between them. Every session has prerequisites that can be obtained by previous sessions or a specific one, so the participants can choose the sessions of their most interest. Although the sessions can be taken independently, because of their specificity, they form a comprehensive course that covers the following:  

• Day One: General concepts and BIM standards implemented in AECO using the BIM platform, Revit.
• Day Two: Focus on process automation with the interoperability between Revit and structural design software, as well as the powerful use of Revit API and the possibilities of visual programming using Dynamo.  
• Day Three: Coordination, which covers the presentation of methodologies that can be used to reconcile the various disciplines in a project supported by Navisworks.

This three-day training sessions event is taking place in Porto and on the 17th, 18th and 19th of October (Monday to Wednesday), preceding the RTC Europe 2016 ( RTCEUR 2016 ).

The FTC are thought for the beginner/intermediate level, as a full course or individual and specific sessions, to show means to enhance the company’s workflows and productivity. The key aspect of the FTC is their modular feature that all together provides full theme courses, allowing attendees to choose what they are really interested on without missing other activities or entire work days. 

As the courses are included on a RTC BIM Week and organized with the cooperation of RTC, each attendee of RTC Europe 2016 will have a free-pass for two of the FTC sessions of his choice.
