CALL FOR PAPERS

 

With an exciting theme for the upcoming conference, we invite paper submissions on relevant sub-themes, including, but not limited to the following:

 

  • Topic 1: Emerging Trends for Lean Educators in the Era of Digitalization, Sustainability, and Human-Centered Practices
  • Topic 2: Developing Lean Competencies for Manufacturing and Industrial Organizations (including SMEs) with a Human-Centered Approach
  • Topic 3: Developing Lean Competencies for the Service Sector (Banking, Finance, Airline, Transportation, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Topic 4: Developing Lean Competencies for the Public Sector and Voluntary or Third Sector (Health, Local Authorities or Municipalities, Education, Charity or Non-Profit, etc.) with Human-Centered Focus
  • Topic 5: Teaching Lean Thinking for Sustainability and Circular Economy

Accepted papers will be published by Springer as Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering series.

The books of this series are submitted to, among others, ISI Proceedings (Web of Science) and SCOPUS.

 

Papers must be prepared using Springer guidelines, with maximum of 12 pages length. For paper preaparation, authors must read Proceedings Guidelines for Authors and prepare papers according Springer Word Template or Springer LaTex Template.

Acceptance is based on condition that at least one author will register and present the paper at the conference.
