ISEP discusses best teaching practices in engineering

The ISEP’s Department of Mathematics is promoting the VI Workshop on Innovative Teaching Methodologies for Math Courses on Engineering Degrees on the 25th and 26th of June 2020, in the H202 Auditorium.

In this initiative, the best teaching practices and experiences in Engineering courses will be discussed and shared. It is intended to understand and proceed with a review of the current pedagogy to improve students' knowledge which, consequently, leads to better learning results.

This workshop is developed as part of the Erasmus + DrIVE-MATH - Development of Innovative Mathematical Teaching Strategies in European Engineering Degrees project, started in 2017.

This 6th edition confirms the interest and potential of the topic under discussion. Several national and international specialists in the field of education will be present. Fernando Blasco, from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, stands out; Araceli Queiruga Dios, from the Universidad de Salamanca; Viola Larionova, Ural Federal University, Russia; Maria Manuel Nascimento, from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro; Celia O'Hagan, from the University of Ulster, in the United Kingdom and Deolinda Dias Rasteiro, from the Polytechnic of Coimbra.
