SESSION:  “Standardization and legal aspects in the BIM area”

SPEAKER: Marzia Bolpagni

Marzia is a BIM Advisor at Mace in London where she develops and implements digital construction solutions for international clients. She is also a PhD Candidate at Politecnico di Milano where concludes a thesis on ways of managing and controlling public works through innovative digital approaches.

She collaborated with two advanced BIM-aware public clients: the Massachusetts Port Authority (USA) and the UK Ministry of Justice. In 2017 the Italian Engineer Association assigned her the 'Woman Ingenious' award for her work on BIM at international level.

She is keen on knowledge sharing and passionate about her work. She is glad to be a member of BIM Excellence Initiative, Assistant Editor and Italian Language Editor of the BIM Dictionary, member of the Italian Organization for Standardization (UNI), UK BIM Alliance and European Committee for Standardization (CEN) TC 442 where she chairs a Task Group on LOD standardization.
